When does the clock start?

NRS 11.200(1): the time under NRS 11.190 "shall be deemed to date from the last transaction or the last item charged or last credit given," and where a payment of principal or interest is made after the debt became due, "the limitation shall commence from the time the last payment was made"; for a mutual, open and current account with reciprocal demands, NRS 11.210 dates accrual from the last item proved on either side.

What pauses it?

NRS 11.250 (person under 18, insane, or in state custodial care placed before age 18); NRS 11.300 (if the defendant departs Nevada after the cause accrues, "the time of the absence shall not be part of the time prescribed for the commencement of the action"). NOT INDEPENDENTLY VERIFIED — I did not fetch NRS 11.250, 11.300 or 11.210.
